¶ Factory Reset

Factory reset allows you to restore the device to its initial state, and the operation must be performed via the APP.

Note: If the device is bound to a remote service, factory reset will automatically unbind the service, and an internet connection is required to complete the operation.

¶ How to Factory Reset

1. Open the client, go to the Devices page, and find the Hardware & System > Factory Reset option;
2. Tap Factory Reset, then enter the password to initiate the reset process.

• Hard Drive Formatting: If you select "Do Not Format", the system will automatically create an "olduserdata" directory. After the reset is completed, the original data files will be saved in this directory.
